September 2009 the new Van Genechten Packaging ERP application, Fenics, was released. The new ERP system has been developped by VGP resources in an open technology and with an architecture that enables fast integration with third party products, customers and suppliers.
Major focus in this project was to deploy a product that delivers a maximum of performance at a minium cost, enabling VGP to ensure our cost efficiency also on IT level to serve our customers competitive, perfectly and now.
Data News, the leading ICT magazine in Belgium, announced the VGP IT Manager, Mr Luc Pluys, as "ICT Manager of the year 2009".
